With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Margaret Elizabeth Antoine of Ironton, MO.

Margaret spent her working life as ['bank teller for different banks'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

Margaret Elizabeth Antoine, of Ironton, MO, entered into rest on Monday. April 27, 2026, at the age of 79 years, 2 months, and 6 days. She was born February 21, 1947, in St. Louis, MO, to the late Angelo and Mary (Burton) Legamaro.

Margaret is survived by her two children, Stacy Suttles-Sansoucie and husband Scott of Ironton, MO, and Anthony "Tony" Lancia of Peoria, AZ; six grandchildren, Ashley Mendenhall and husband Patrick, Lauren Dickey and husband Adam, Eric Suttles and wife Chelsea, Cody Suttles and wife Kendra, Dominic Lancia, and Mandy Lancia; seven great-grandchildren, Hunter, Lukas, Avery, Ember, Easton, Kenzleigh, and Kollins; and many more loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends.

She is preceded in rest by her parents, Angelo and Mary Legamaro, and a sister Mary Ann Voorheis,

For many years, Margaret worked as a bank teller for different banks, and was also a beautician in her later years. She was an avid bingo player, she loved her stories in books and on television, she loved spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, she was a master at making homemade Italian meatballs, and she loved her dog, Jasper.

Margaret Elizabeth Antoine was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know and love her.

A Memorial Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, beginning at 7:00 pm from the Cole Family Funeral Home.

A Visitation for friends and family to gather will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, beginning at 5:00 pm from the Cole Family Funeral Home.

Pastor Dean Berry will be officiating the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society in Margaret's honor.
