With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Michael Thomas Largey of Gonzales, LA.

What follows is not the whole story, but a thread of it.

The heart keeps better records than the calendar.

Michael Thomas Largey, affectionately known as Mike, was born on July 4, 1954, in Orange, New Jersey. His life was graced by a love for hunting, fishing, boiling crawfish, cooking, which he was known to make the best red gravy ever, and an enduring passion for watching Yankees baseball.  Mike was preceded in death by his beloved spouse, Donna Largey, as well as his cherished parents, Mary and Patrick Largey. Though he has departed from this world, his memory lives on in the hearts of those who loved him dearly.  He is survived by his devoted son, Patrick Largey, and his wife Katie, his loving daughter, Michelle Largey, and a treasured lineage of grandchildren: Parrish Templet, Katherine "Kat" Wildey, Lincoln Largey, and Titus Largey. Mike’s spirit is also carried forward by his siblings, Patricia "Patty" Ward, Patrick John "PJ" Largey, and Robert "Bobby" Largey.
