Nancy Lou Grant (Hinton) was born on November 22, 1930, in Riverview, Michigan, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026, in Fostoria, Ohio, at the age of 95. Her vibrant spirit and love for life touched all who knew her.

Nancy dedicated over 25 years of her life working diligently for the City of Gibraltar, where her commitment and service were deeply appreciated. Her career was a testament to her strong work ethic and unwavering dedication to her community.

Beyond her professional life, Nancy's zest for life was evident in her diverse interests. Her passion for roller derby highlighted her adventurous spirit having skated for the New York Chiefs, while her talent for crochet allowed her to create beautiful works of art with her hands. She found joy in boating, embracing the tranquility of the water, and her culinary skills brought delight to family gatherings and friends alike.

Nancy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Don, her parents George and Mildred and her brother Chet. Her legacy continues through the lives of her surviving family members: her daughter, Laurie (Phil), granddaughter Donielle (Jason), and nieces, Debbie (Max) and Karin (Jill).

Friends and family are invited to celebrate Nancy's life at Michigan Memorial Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 from 12:30PM to 3:00PM with a service to follow at 3:00PM. It will be a time to honor a life well-lived, filled with love, laughter, and inspiration.

Nancy will be remembered for her kindness, strength, and the warmth she shared with everyone she encountered. Her legacy lives on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.
