Pamela spent her working life as ['the City of St'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
Time has its way of binding people together.
Pamela Jo Bickford (nee Walsh), of St. Peters, MO, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026, at the age of 69. Beloved wife of Billy W. Bickford; cherished daughter of Clara Womble and the late Junior Walsh; devoted mother of Robert (Michelle) Bickford, Lisa (Christopher) Hollingsworth, and Bridget (Brad Hayes) Potter; loving grandmother of Heather Bickford, Alyssa Bickford, Tylor Messmer, Cody (Arizona) Messmer, Caylynn (Flynn Abel) Hollingsworth, Dannica Hollingsworth, Dennis Potter, and Aubrey Hayes; treasured great-grandmother of Elijah, Kai, Grayson, Serenity, Tommy, and Mason.Pamela shared 49 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Billy, and showed incredible strength as she battled anaplastic thyroid cancer since July of 2025. She retired from the City of St. Peters and embraced life with a spirit of adventure, enjoying travel, flying in a small engine plane, even trying her hand at surfing, while also finding joy in crafting and her love for sea turtles. A woman of strong faith, Pamela was a devoted member of NorthRoad Community Church in Moscow Mills, Missouri. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.Memorials may be made in Pamela's name to Siteman Cancer Center and The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center.
