She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune & Jeopardy.She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank Stevens Chapman, Jr., and Retha Locke Chapman; husband, John Edward Mardula; sister, Betty Chapman; brothers, Carnell S. Chapman, William R. Chapman, John C. Chapman, Franklin Earl Chapman, Robert E. Chapman, Sr., Charles R. Chapman, Jackie L. Chapman, and Norman L. Chapman, Sr.Survivors include her son, John Edward Mardula, Jr.; grandchildren, Amanda Farmer (Josh) and John Michael Mardula; great-grandchildren, Ella & Emma Farmer; brothers, Denny Chapman, Sr. (Nell) and Jerry J. Chapman; a number of nieces and nephews; best friend and caregiver, Ms. Casey.Visitation will be private per the family's wishes.Burial will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026, at 10am at Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.The Family has entrusted Patricia's care to the Flynn Family and the staff of Flynn Funeral & Cremation Memorial Centers.
