Robert was born on June 26, 1959, in Richmond, Texas, to Herman and Dorothy Pospisil. He worked as an instrumentation and electronics engineer and was known for his strong work ethic and curiosity. Robert was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, BBQing, gardening, tinkering, making wine, and even setting off fireworks. He brought joy and laughter to those around him and will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Dorothy Pospisil; his son, Brandan; his brother, James (Cynthia);granddaughter, Anna and the mother of his children Evelyn.
Robert is survived by his loving wife, Rhonda Pospisil; his children, Franklin (Jennifer), Misty (Randy) and Amber; his brother, David (Doris); his grandchildren, Reslyn, Rayna, Sarah, Benjamin, Joshua, and Liam; and his great-grandchildren, Braeden, Leilani, Stefon, and Kaizen.
Visitation will be held Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., with a Rosary prayer at 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held Friday, May 8, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Davis Greenlawn in Rosenberg. Burial will follow at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
