With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Rosemary Reschke of Hamburg, MI.
What we offer here is gratitude wrapped in remembrance.
Rosemary held deeply to the Lutheran faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
A life of belief is a life of quiet conversation with something larger.
Her Legacy… Rosemary Reschke, 92, passed away on April 21, 2026. She was born on May 16, 1933, in Detroit, Michigan to James and Elizabeth (Graham) Craib. Rosemary married the love of her life, Harry Reschke, on May 12, 1956, in Detroit, Michigan. Rosemary was a woman whose smile, laughter, and vibrant spirit touched everyone she met. For 27 dedicated years, she served as a school secretary at Hosanna-Tabor Lutheran Church in Redford, Michigan, where she became a beloved and familiar presence to generations of students, families and staff. She was an active member of her church family, participating in a golf and bowling league, handbell choir and was a Sunday school and Vacation Bible schoolteacher. Rosemary had a special gift for bringing people together and took great joy in participating in activities at the Hampton Manor. God and family were the center of her life. She was the biggest fan of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, by attending their games, performances, and activities, cheering them on with love and support.
