Sally M. Hansen, 83, of Menominee, passed away on May 2, 2026, at the Luther Home. She was born on June 8, 1942, in Escanaba, the daughter of John and Rose (Loritz) Peterson.

Sally was born and raised in Escanaba. On September 26, 1960, she married John Hansen, and together they shared nearly 60 years of marriage.

Sally was devoted to her family and especially cherished her role as a wife, mother, and grandmother. She took great joy in attending her grandchildren's ballgames and was always their biggest supporter. She also enjoyed shopping and taking trips to Green Bay.

She was known for her friendly nature and love of conversation.

Sally is survived by her son, Steve (Barb) Hansen; and his children, Sasha (Manny) Vazquez, Michael Hansen (Stacy Adamski); Tara (John) Sheraski and Courtney (Dalton) Brezsko; daughter, Holly (Don) Robinson; and her children, Josh (Mariah) Johnson and Tyler Johnson (Keely Derouin); along with seven great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Hansen; her son, John (Berg) Hansen; as well as her parents, John and Rose Peterson.

Visitation will be held at Hansen-Onion-Martell Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, from 3 until 4:30p.m., with a memorial service beginning at 4:30p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Menominee.
