With heavy hearts, we share the passing of Sharon A. Saxon of Lock Haven, PA.
These few paragraphs cannot hold a life, but they may carry a memory.
Quiet kindness echoes longest.
Sharon (Nuie) A. Saxon, 71 of Mill Hall passed away at Gesinger Medical Center in Danville on Tuesday, May 5th, 2026.
She was born in Lock Haven to the late Calvin I. and Anna M. (Peter) Reeder on October 30th, 1954.
On August 8th, 1992, she married William J. Saxon who survives.
She graduated from Lock Haven High School in 1972. She was employed by L. F Widmann 1972-1998 and most recently at UGI Utilities retiring in 2022. She enjoyed spending time with her husband, niece, nephew-in-law and her grandnieces and nephew.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by a sister, Susan K. (Roger) Young of Corvallis, Oregon; a niece Dena (Andrew) Hulting of Corvallis, Oregon, and grandnieces and nephew, Addison, Anna and Alec Hulting all of Corvallis. In addition, stepchildren, Stacey Saxon, John Saxon and Michael Saxon and step granddaughter, Alyssa Saxon.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Daryl Reeder and a special niece, Danielle Young.
Funeral services for Sharon A. Saxon will be held on Friday, May 8th, 2026, 11AM in the Gedon Funeral Homes & Cremation Services, LLC 121. W Main St. Lock Haven, PA 17745 with Pastor Dean Williams officiating.
Friends and family will be received in the funeral home at 9:30am until time of service.
Burial will be private at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
