With heavy hearts, we share the passing of William Wilmot of Baldwinsville, NY.
What follows is not the whole story, but a thread of it.
William spent his working life as ['several years with Stone &'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.
What William gave his children, they will give to theirs.
William Wilmot, 93; formerly a longtime resident of Granby, NY and currently of Baldwinsville, NY passed Wednesday, April 22, 2026, at Central Park Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, Syracuse, NY.
Mr. Wilmot was born in Potsdam, NY to the late Pliny and Lena (Clark) Wilmot. He retired from the Carpenter's Local #747, Oswego, NY having worked for several years with Stone & Webster. Mr. Wilmot was an outdoorsman at heart, and he loved to fish, hunt and garden.
He was pre-deceased by his wife Marion Wilmot, daughter Bonnie Barrington, his grandson and several siblings.
Mr. Wilmot is survived by his children: Donald (Kelly) Wilmot of Fulton, Ward Wilmot of Buffalo, NY; his two sisters: Mary Sherman and Florence Rouff and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
There will be no Funeral Service or Calling Hours.
Burial was held privately at Jacksonville Cemetery, Lysander, NY.
