A Brief Sketch of Life
Ronald Jeffrey Corbitt, Sr. was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. He moved to Indianapolis, Indiana in 1965, where he spent most of his life building lasting connections with family and friends.
Ron was known for his playful spirit and sense of humor-he was a natural jokester who could make others laugh with ease. He was also accomplished in karate and known by many as a versatile athlete for his size. Ron was most often in good spirits, bringing positivity to those around him. He graduated from Park Tudor School in 1980, where he played Varsity football and participated in wrestling.
He was a devoted father, a loving family member, and a loyal friend to many. Ron will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
Ronald Jeffrey Corbitt passed away April 21, 2026 ,at the age of sixty-four years. He was preceded in death by his brother, Corey Corbitt; his father, Earl Corbitt, and his mother, Marilyn Corbitt.
He is survived by his sons, Ronald Jeffrey Corbitt, II and Kyle Corbitt; his siblings, Dr. Cathy Jones, Henry Corbitt (Cathy), and David Corbitt (Kristin), and a host of extended family members and friends.
Ron's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be remembered for the love he shared and the impact he made on those around him.
