Ronald spent his working life as ['Ford Motor Co'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

There is no greater gift than the one a parent gives by simply being present.

Ronald L. Mason 1954–2026

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved friend and family member Ronald L Mason age 71, Weatherby, Missouri.

Remembered for a life filled with kindness, generosity, and unwavering love, his presence touched everyone fortunate enough to know him. His legacy will live on in the hearts of those who cherish, shared their warmth, wisdom, and laughter.

He leaves behind a loving family, devoted friends, and a community grateful for the countless ways he made the world a better place.

Ron was born October 15, 1954, the son of Walter and Beverly (Rice) Mason. He graduated in 1973 from Pattonsburg, Mo High School. He farmed all his life and worked for Ford Motor Co. for 32 years.

He is preceded in death by his parents and beloved daughter Seasons Mason.

Ron married the love of his life Rachelle Ann (Shelly) Plemmons on November 14, 1984. This family was blessed with five children.

Preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Beverly Mason and daughter Seasons Leann.

Survivors include his wife of 41 years Shelly Ann, four children, Shanna Ann, Matthew Lee, Tyler Clark, and Shelby Leann and one brother Danny Mason, other relatives and many friends.

Funeral Services will be Noon on Friday, May 1, 2026, at Turner Family Funeral Home in Maysville, Mo. with burial immediately following at Fairview Cemetery in McFall, MO.
