Ronald Ray Rowley of Bremen, OH, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.

Here is what we wish the world to know of Ronald.

It is in the silence afterward that we hear how loud a life was.

Ronald "Ron" R. Rowley Jr, 74, entered into his heavenly home on April 17, 2026, surrounded by his loving family whom he cherished most in this world. Ron was born on July 13, 1951, in Valparaiso, Indiana, the first child of Ronald R. Rowley, Sr. and Lois Rowley (Johnson). Survived by siblings Debbie (Allen) Guseman, Margaret (Rex) Riddle, John (Karen) Rowley, Todd (Olivia) Rowley and Melissa Rowley, who remained a part of the family and was dearly appreciated. Ron was a devoted husband, loving father, and proud grandfather whose life was defined by his deep commitment to his family and his faith. He was a longtime member of Faith Memorial Church, where he found strength, fellowship, and purpose. His faith guided his life in every way. Ron found great peace in reading the Bible-having completed it cover to cover four times. Ron dedicated 44 years of hard work and craftsmanship as a glassmaker at Anchor Hocking. On June 8, 1974, Ron married the love of his life, Sarah Rowley (Guseman). From the moment they met, their connection was immediate. Sarah quickly became the center of Ron's world. Their marriage was marked by a rare and enduring bond, built on love, devotion, and deep respect for one another. As the years passed, their love only grew stronger. Ron and Sarah shared a deep and faithful love, a bond blessed by God that remained strong and unwavering throughout their lives and into eternity. Their story together will always be one of the most cherished and meaningful parts of his life. Outside of work, Ron was known for his love of family time. He was an avid fan of The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns, faithfully cheering them on through every season. He never gave up on his Brownies. He also enjoyed Westerns and could often be found enjoying a classic film. Above all, Ron treasured time spent with his family, whether sharing stories, watching a game, or simply being together while sharing a meal. He was a proud father to Ronald R. Rowley III (Trisha), Stacy Upp (Jeremiah), and Alicia Wentz (John). Ron was a cherished grandfather to Ronald R. Rowley, IV (fiancée Emma Leising), Hannah Wentz (Quynn Duncan), Cole Rowley, Reagan Rowley, Bridger Upp, and Annika Upp. His children and grandchildren brought him immense joy, and he took great pride in each of them and their accomplishments. Ron will be remembered for his strong faith, his quiet strength, his dedication to family, and his kind and steady presence. His life was a testament to love, perseverance, and belief in God. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Wilmer and the entire medical team for their compassionate care and support of Ron. They also wish to thank Crystal Ogg, a treasured family friend, for the delicious treats she lovingly baked to indulge Ron's sweet tooth. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 6th from 3:00-7:00 p.m. at Morgan Funeral Home in Bremen, Ohio, with a brief service following. He will be deeply missed and forever loved.
