Sharon Lee Fraboni of Peoria Heights, IL has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.

What we offer here is gratitude wrapped in remembrance.

Sharon spent her working life as ['Caterpillar and was a licensed beautician'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

There is no greater gift than the one a parent gives by simply being present.

Sharon Lee Fraboni, age 90, of Peoria Heights, passed away on May 2, 2026 at Richard L Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

Sharon was born on July 11, 1935, to Rolland Keith and Beulah Marion (Corbin) Lowder. She married Louis Robert Fraboni on October 14, 1956, in Peoria. They preceded her in death.

Sharon is survived by her four children, LeeAnn (Alan) Lentz of Peoria, IL, Randall (Lori) Fraboni of Metamora, IL, Kimberly (Tom) Schroeder of Germantown Hills, IL, and Charles Fraboni of Peoria Heights, IL; seven grandchildren, Nick (Kilah) Lentz, Marissa (Adam) Lentz, Martina (Jason) Smith, Vince (Emily) Fraboni, McKenzie Schroeder, Zackary Schroeder, and Andrea (Mike) Person; five great-grandchildren, Grayson Lentz, Theodore Smith, Romi Fraboni, and Nolyn and Sutton Person.

Sharon was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. In her early years, Sharon worked at Caterpillar and was a licensed beautician. After her marriage, she was a homemaker and loved to cook for her family. Sharon and Lou would travel often to California, stopping and enjoying all the sights along the way. When Lou developed kidney disease, Sharon was by his side through all his dialysis treatments.

Her home was always open to family and friends, and everyone knew they would never leave hungry. She was an avid Chicago Cubs and Chicago Bears fan and enjoyed watching the Price Is Right, Young and the Restless, and QVC in her later years. The Fraboni family wishes to express their deep gratitude to the nurses and staff at Owen's Hospice Home for their kindness and compassionate care.

Her cremation has been entrusted to Deiters Funeral Home and Crematory in Washington, Illinois.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Richard L Owens Hospice Home, 8630 Il-91, Peoria Illinois 61615
