Stacy Dean Connally of Boyd, TX, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.

Behind every name is a life, and behind every life are the people who loved it.

Grief is love with nowhere left to go.

Stacy Dean Connally, 61 of Paradise, Texas passed away on May 3, 2026.He was born on March 9, 1965 in Fort Worth, Texas.Stacy spent much of his life working in construction. Outside of work, he found joy in the simple things - hunting, fishing and tending his garden, especially planting watermelons. He appreciated the simple things in life and had an abundance of friends, a true reflection of the kind of person he was.He also had a deep love for animals, especially dogs. If you knew Stacy, you knew he always had a few around him. They weren't just pets, they were his companions. He cared for them in a way that said a lot about who he was: loyal, easygoing, and big hearted.He is survived by his parents Sam and Patricia Connally; his sons, Kevin Connally and wife D'Anna, and Cash Connally; his grandson Nolan Connally; his sister Lesa Lyon and husband Mark; his nephews Colton and Dalton Lyon along with many aunts, uncles, cousins and great nieces and nephews.He was preceded in death by the love of his life Tracy McKee Connally his grandparents Dizzy and Altha Mae Dean, Ralph and Esther Connally and his cousin John Dean.A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 7th, at the Boyd Cemetery.Stacy will be remembered as a free spirit who loved to have a good time and enjoyed life to the fullest.
