Susan B. Vinal of Jordan, NY has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.

The chapters of her life were many; these are some of them.

Love, when given fully, leaves its mark on every life it touches.

Susan B. Vinal, 74, of Jordan, NY, passed away Monday, May 4, 2026 at Strong Memorial Hospital after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Susan was a graduate of Liverpool High School, Class of 1969. She loved the outdoors and landscaping. She also enjoyed walking her dogs, who she loved dearly. Susan enjoyed spending time with family and friends; but, especially her granddaughter, Giavanna who she communicated with every single day either by facetime, texting or just calling. She will be sadly missed by all that knew her.She was predeceased by her parents, James and Evelyn Broadwell.Surviving to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert C. Vinal; sons, Jason Vinal, Kevin and daughter-in-law, Renee Vinal; granddaughter, Giavanna Vinal; sister, Nancy (Fran) Jennings; her dogs, Keeva, Meatball, and Buddy; nephew, Todd Gustafson, and several cousins.Calling hours will be held on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm at the Maurer Funeral Home, Inc. 300 Second St. Liverpool, NY 13088.Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, ASPCA, or a favorite pet charity of your choice.Please sign the funeral home on-line guestbook for Susan to express your condolences to her family.
