Timothy Paul Egeler of Divide, CO, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved him dearly.

What follows is not the whole story, but a thread of it.

Timothy's children carry forward what was given to them.

Timothy Paul Egeler, 66, of Divide, Colorado, passed away peacefully at home on April 26, 2026, surrounded by his family.

Tim was born on September 21, 1959, in Tanzania, East Africa, to Arnold and Dorothy Egeler, Christian missionaries. He was raised in Tanzania and attended Rift Valley Academy before moving to New York, where he graduated from The King's College with a degree in Religion/Biblical Studies. He loved soccer and followed the game throughout his life.

Tim and his wife, Lisa, owned and operated a restoration business in Colorado Springs. They also shared a home in the mountains and spent seven joyful years of marriage working side by side and staying closely connected to their church community. After being diagnosed with multiple myeloma two years ago, Tim faced his illness with steady faith and resolve, supported by Lisa and his family. He kept his sense of humor and remained devoted to those around him.

He will be remembered for the way he showed up for others-with generosity, care, and a sense of adventure that shaped his life and relationships.

Tim is survived by his wife, Lisa Egeler; his children, Kristi (Egeler) Andrusyshyn and her spouse, Zuriel Andrusyshyn; Zachary Egeler and his spouse, Haydn Egeler; and Justin Egeler; his brothers, Dan, Jon, and Jim Egeler; his sister, Ruth Basile; and five grandchildren: Zander and Zara Andrusyshyn, and Avry, Colbi, and Brooks Egeler. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, May 24, at 3 p.m. at Woodland Park Community Church.

In lieu of flowers please consider a donation in honor of Tim, His Healing Light Ministries, a ministry that blessed him personally a built his faith.
