Tonia Renee Williams of Eufaula, OK has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.

Tonia held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

Tonia Renee Williams, age 61, of Texanna, Oklahoma, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 4, 2026, in Tulsa. Born on April 16, 1965, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, she was the beloved daughter of Doyle Wayne Roberts and Janet (Hart) Lawson.
Tonia grew up in the Checotah Assembly of God Church and proudly graduated from Checotah High School in 1983. Following high school, she attended Connors State College before beginning her career. She was devoted to her family and took great joy in assisting her customers throughout her work in finance. Above all, she cherished the time spent with her nephews, nieces, and her beloved grandson, Sawyer-affectionately known as SawSaw. Tonia also enjoyed following NASCAR, the OU Sooners, Dallas Cowboys football, and the Oklahoma City Thunder.
She is lovingly remembered by her son, Tim Turner, and his wife Brooke; her mother, Janet Lawson; her grandson, Sawyer Turner; brother Buzz Roberts and his wife Shawna; nephews Justin Roberts and wife Jasmine, Jacob Roberts and wife Hunter, Collin Roberts and fiance Katie Fletcher; as well as great-nephew Holden Roberts and great-nieces Phoebe, Heidi, and Margot Winnie Roberts.
Tonia was preceded in death by her father, Doyle Wayne Roberts; maternal grandparents Earl and Winnie Hart; paternal grandparents Lawrence and Gertie Roberts; stepfather Harold Lawson.
A funeral service to honor Tonia's life will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, May 8, 2026, at the Checotah First Baptist Church with Reverend Steve Dennis officiating. Pallbearers will be Justin Roberts, Collin Roberts, Jacob Roberts, Sawyer Turner, Waylon Sanders and Bryan McDonald. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula. The family is grateful for the care and support provided by Hunn, Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.
Tonia's warmth, dedication to family, and spirited love for life will be deeply missed and fondly remembered by all who knew her.
