Travis Dale Stover of Boonville, MO has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.

Here is what we wish the world to know of Travis.

Travis spent his working life as ['NORDYNE Mftg'] and held deeply to the Baptist faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.

Belief, when lived, becomes a kind of inheritance.

Travis Dale Stover, 50, of Boonville, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at his home. He was born on August 13, 1975, in Colorado Springs, Colorado, the son of Huber Stover II, and Janene (Rains) Stover.

Travis attended New Franklin High School and received dual bachelor's degree in psychology and business management from Columbia College.

Travis met Sheila Mills and they were together 27 years and then were married on March 9, 2009 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

He worked at NORDYNE Mftg. and Indeeco in Boonville prior to them closing both plants. He was currently employed in Internet Auction and Sales.

He was a member of the Santa Fe Trails Baptist Church. Travis was also known as a magician, fire and sword juggler, providing entertainment for his friends and family. He was a nature lover, spending time in the woods, on walking trails and camping on their property at the Lake of the Ozarks. But his most treasured time was spent with his wife, children, grandchildren and family.

He is survived by his wife Sheila Stover of Boonville; children: Kelsey (Megan) O'Day of Boonville, Logan Schutjer (Emily Williams) of Fayette, Preston Stover of Boonville, Kaiden Stover of Boonville; parents: Janene Stover of Boonville, Huber Stover (Teresa Vollrath) of Boonville; sisters Angelyn Beismeyer of Boonville, Amanda Palmer (Doug) of Nelson; grandmother Jackie Creason of Boonville; grandchildren: Colt, Caysen, Kenna, Kingston, Rhett; aunts uncles and loved by many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Huber L. Stover, Gretna J. Hendrix-Stover, Rex Dale Rains; and a grandson Ryder.

A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 16, 2026 at Santa Fe Trails Baptist Church in Boonville.
