Valerie M. Himes, age 86, of Perry, passed away on Saturday May 2, 2026 at the Wyoming County Skilled Nursing Facility in Warsaw.She was born in Syracuse, NY on August 25, 1939, a daughter to the late Harry and Marie Alice (McCasland) Himes.Valerie was a resident at the Perry ICF Home. She enjoyed listening to music and sitting outside in the sun. She enjoyed the company of her friends at the Perry ICF Home.She is survived by her sister: Kathleen Himes of Syracuse, her brother: John (Nina) Himes of Virginia, along with several nieces and nephews.Along with her parents, Valerie is preceded in death by her sister: Barbara Valerie Wilburn and her brother: Harry Himes Jr.Services will be held at the convenience of the family.Valerie will be laid to rest in Onondaga Valley Cemetery in Syracuse.For more information please call (585) 237-2626 or to leave a message of condolence visit www.eatonwatsonfuneralhome.com.
