Valerie L. Salton - Alford, born on July 20th, 1960, passed away on April 29th, 2026. Valerie is survived by her beloved husband Julius Alford, daughter Julia Alford and sisters Doris Moore, Paulette Moore, and Sheila Edmond.Valerie was employed at Hope Inc where she provided resources for low-income housing. Valerie enjoyed shopping, watching movies and cooking for her family and friends. Her illuminating smile, infectious laugh and caring heart will be missed by all who knew her.Services for Valerie will be Friday May 15th at 11:00 at Antioch Missionary Baptist Church located at 1654 N Mathewson St, Wichita, KS 67214.
