Wayne Lawrence Slitor

(1947-2026)

Wayne was born in Cleveland, Ohio in 1947,

The Lord called him home on April 22,2026 at the age of 78, after a series of health issues. He did his best to keep living life to the fullest to the very end. His final moments in this life were spent with his two daughters and son-in-law.

Wayne was preceded in death by his father Lewis Slitor; his mother Willetta Slitor; his brothers, Gary Sitor and Keith Slitor; his first wife Bettye Greeson (Slitor); and his grandson Zachary Roberts.

He is survived by his former wife Nancy Slitor, with whom he shared an enduring love and close companionship throughout his life; his sister Tammy Corrigan (John Corrigan); his daughters, Sandra Esmurdoc (Matthew Esmurdoc) and Cindy Koontz (Terry Koontz).

Wayne was a proud and loving grandfather to James Roberts, Matthew Roberts, (Danielle), Kyle Roberts (Mariah),

Joseph Roberts (Katie), Christopher Thompson, Joshua Thompson (Nicole Pugsley) Amber Mezera (Jacob Mezera), and

Nicole Koontz (Tim Chapin). He was also blessed with great-grandchildren Anastacia Roberts; Kara Sheeley and Mya Roberts; Rylan Roberts; Owen and Nora Roberts; T Hazel Thompson; Amelia and Thea Reagan; Elanor Thompson.

He is also survived by many loving cousins, nieces and nephews, as well as a plethora of dear friends and family

that he was blessed to have, know, and love.

Wayne truly loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a man of faith and loved our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, who. brought him comfort and strength. Dad is now at rest in Heaven for eternity.

A service to celebrate Wayne's life will be held on Saturday May 16,2026 at New Life Wesleyan Church Hall, 11149

Columbia West River RD., Columbia Station, Ohio 44028.

Receiving friends and family from 11am-3pm.
