William F. Flannery Jr. of Beverly, MA has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.

BEVERLY, MA - William F. Flannery, Jr., 73, of Beverly, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2026 at home following a lengthy illness. Son of the late William F. Sr. and Elizabeth E. (Briody) Flannery, and fiancée of Cindy LeBlanc, William was born in Beverly and raised in its Ryal Side neighborhood where lifelong friendships were made while playing many seasonal sports at Livingstone and Obear Parks.
William was a member of the 1970 graduating class at Beverly High School and went on to proudly serve as a paratrooper in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division. After an honorable discharge he worked a long and fulfilling career for the US Postal Service as a letter carrier in Beverly.
William was a member of the Union Club, Spear Post and the Beverly Farms Golf League. He always enjoyed a good round of golf and game of pool.
William is survived by: his fiancée Cindy LeBlanc, his sister Ellen Flannery, his brother and sister-in-law Len and Joanne Flannery, his nephew and godson CJ, his nephew Ryan his wife Nichole and their children Sloane and Sienna, as well as many cousins and good friends.
