William F. Flannery Jr. of Beverly, MA has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved him.

To raise a child is to give the world a future. William did this with care.

BEVERLY, MA - William F. Flannery, Jr., 73, of Beverly, passed away Thurs­day, April 30, 2026 at home fol­lowing a lengthy illness. Son of the late William F. Sr. and Elizabeth E. (Briody) Flan­nery, and fiancée of Cindy LeBlanc, William was born in Beverly and raised in its Ryal Side neighborhood where life­long friendships were made while playing many seasonal sports at Livingstone and Obear Parks.

William was a member of the 1970 graduating class at Beverly High School and went on to proudly serve as a paratrooper in the Army's 82nd Airborne Division. Af­ter an honorable discharge he worked a long and fulfilling ca­reer for the US Postal Service as a letter carrier in Beverly.

William was a member of the Union Club, Spear Post and the Beverly Farms Golf League. He always enjoyed a good round of golf and game of pool.

William is survived by: his fiancée Cindy LeBlanc, his sis­ter Ellen Flannery, his broth­er and sister-in-law Len and Joanne Flannery, his nephew and godson CJ, his nephew Ryan his wife Nichole and their children Sloane and Si­enna, as well as many cousins and good friends.

ARRANGEMENTS: Funeral ser­vices for William are private. A Celebration of Life will take place later this summer.
