Obituary (English) It is with deep sorrow and love that we announce the passing of Alfonso Martinez, who departed this life on May 2, 2026, at the age of 91.

Alfonso was born on September 25, 1934, in Bogotá, Colombia. He lived a life defined by love, strength, and unwavering devotion to his family.

He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Vitelvina Martinez, and a proud and loving father to his four daughters: Zoraida J. Herrera, Rosemary Restrepo, Gloria P. Martinez, and Gladys N. Jimenez.

Alfonso was blessed with a large and loving family. He leaves behind 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren, each of whom carries a piece of his love and legacy.
