Amber was born on April 2, 1995, in Cambridge, Minnesota. She attended school in Braham and graduated from Cambridge High School. She spent most of her life in the Cambridge area where she built deep connections with family and friends.
Amber worked as a Personal Care Attendant, a role that reflected her natural instinct to care for others. She was someone who showed up for people, checked in often, and gave what she could to make sure those around her were okay.
Amber will be remembered for her vibrant and unmistakable personality. She was full of life, energy, and emotion. She was loving, bold, and passionate, with a presence that filled a room the moment she walked in. She had a way of making people laugh, even when they didn't feel like it, and she brought a sense of connection and belonging to those around her. She loved her family deeply, especially her daughters. Amber was a fun and devoted mom who embraced life with her girls. She loved creating moments with them, whether that meant dressing them up, treating them to their favorite things, or simply enjoying time together.
Amber also found joy in the simple things. A stop at Caribou Coffee, time with family, cooking or baking when the mood hit, and staying connected to the many people she cared about. She lived life fully and felt things deeply, and those who knew her will never forget the way she showed up in their lives.
She is survived by her daughters, Skye (4) and Adeline (8 months); her parents, Amy (Jason) Stonehouse and Manny (Tisa) Shellito; her fiancé, Ryan Weber; her siblings, Destiny (Ben) Reed, Devin (Brandi) Shellito, and Haeli Sampson; and her grandparents, William and Beverly Barthel.
Strike Life Tributes is honored to serve the family of Amber Lynnette Shellito.
