Virginia held deeply to the Catholic faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

A life of faith is rarely a life of certainty — but always one of trust.

Virginia E. Williams, age 90 of Cambridge, died April 24, 2026 at home. A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, April 30th at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Isanti. A visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in Christ the King Catholic Cemetery.

Virginia E. Williams was born December 19, 1935 in Browerville, Minnesota. She graduated from Melrose High School in 1953. In 1956 Virginia was united in marriage to Alton Williams at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Melrose, Minnesota. They made their home and raised their family in Crystal, Minnesota before moving to Cambridge, Minnesota in 2004.

Virginia enjoyed country music, craft sales, ceramics, bowling, and playing cards with friends. She was a loyal fan of the Minnesota Twins. Virginia was a dedicated mother, wife, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend to many.

Virginia passed away at home on April 24, 2026 at the age of 90 years. Besides her parents she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Al; and brother-in-laws, Ed and Carl.

She will be lovingly remembered by her children; Kathleen Clemente (Jose), Richard Williams, Patricia Brache (Ron), Lynne Lack (Nigel) and Janet (Chris) Johnson; grandchildren, Jose Jr. (Emily), Scott (Danielle), Robert (Emily), Antonio (Nina), Lindsey (Jared), Adam (Caitlin), Jeremy (Clint) and Jenna (Eric); great-grandchildren, Carissa, Kaden. Mercedes, Rena, Dominick, Gabriel, Veda, Emery, Isla, Henry, Connor and Adalyn; sisters, Carol, Audrey and Annie (Glenn); and by other relatives and friends.
