Bonnie Golden of Tampa, FL, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved her dearly.

Here is the shape of a life remembered with love.

Bonnie held deeply to the Jewish faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

The community of faith holds its own well — and Bonnie was held.

Bonnie Elise Golden, a radiant soul and a beacon of love, left this world on May 4th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of joy and warmth. Born on August 17th, 1960, in Tampa, Florida, Bonnie was a charismatic individual with an infectious laugh that could light up any room. Her humor and thoughtfulness made her an instant favorite in any gathering. She was a social butterfly, her love for people evident in the profound connections she made throughout her life.

Bonnie was an ardent lover of life and all its varied hues. She found immense joy in coloring, painting, and crafting, activities that reflected her vibrant spirit. Bonnie was the life of every holiday party, her love for singing and dancing contagious. With a soft spot for Hallmark and Murder She Wrote type shows, she enjoyed her "Stories" on TV. Holidays were Bonnie's favorite time of the year, a testament to her love for festivities and being around people. She found great solace in her Jewish faith, lovingly lighting her menorah on Chanukah at home with her housemothers Mama Fish, Clarista, Michelle, and her housemates. She also enjoyed many Passover meals at her sister Ronna's house.

Bonnie's life was a testament to her love for her family and friends. She leaves behind her sisters, Ronna (Steve) Sharp and Shelley (Neil) Golden Marty, her niece Rachel (Blair) Weiss, and her nephew Hunter (Jessica) Sharp. She was predeceased by her parents, Sidney (Rita) Golden. Bonnie's life was a tapestry of laughter, love, and endless generosity. Her legacy will live on in the hearts of those she loved and those who loved her.

The graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 7th, 2026, at 10:00 am at the Old Rodeph Sholom Cemetery, 3602 N. Ola Ave, Tampa, Florida, 33603. As written in the Book of Proverbs (31:25), "Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come," Bonnie lived her life with grace, strength, and a sense of joy that was truly her own.
