Brittany Nicole Howard, 34, Marion, passed away unexpectedly in her home on Monday, May 4, 2026. She was born in Peru, Indiana, on Friday, December 20, 1991.
Brittany lived a life filled with love, laughter, and meaningful connections. For the past eight years, she was a vibrant and cherished member of the Marion community, where her larger-than-life personality and warm heart left a lasting impression on everyone she met. Brittany never met a stranger. Her outgoing spirit, infectious smile, and compassionate nature made her a friend to many. She had a remarkable ability to brighten any room and bring joy to those around her. She found great happiness in participating in Grant County Special Olympics, where she embraced competition, friendship, and personal achievement with enthusiasm. Brittany deeply treasured time spent with her boyfriend, Shawn, whose companionship brought her immense joy and comfort.
Brittany was also a devoted pet owner to her cherished cat, Mary Jo, who brought her endless love and companionship. She valued her many special friendships through Benchmark Human Services, where she formed strong bonds and shared countless treasured memories.
Brittany's life was defined by her vibrant spirit, her resilience, and her unwavering ability to connect with others. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and caregivers.
Though her life was far too short, Brittany's legacy of kindness, joy, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
A time of visitation will be held from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm on Tuesday, May 12, 2026 at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral & Cremation Service, North Chapel 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion, IN.
