Geri Gail Lenart of Denver, CO has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.
What follows is a brief look at the life her family wishes to share.
There is no greater gift than the one a parent gives by simply being present.
We are saddened to announce the passing of Geri Gail(Gg) Damm-Lenart on April 30, 2026. She passed peacefully from natural causes after a valiant fight. She was a 6 year double-lung transplant survivor whom friends knew as "Gg Warrior" for her heroic fight to stay alive. She was an inspiration to all who knew her and she was our hero, our love, and my bride of 30 years. There is nothing that will fill the hole that exists with her passing.
Gg is survived by her husband Edward, step children Zachary and Maloree Lenart all of Colorado, Sisters Mary Lake from Michigan, Terri Dugan of Colorado and Cheryl Hollowell of Colorado as well as Cousin Lisa Meyer of Michigan. Plus many nieces and nephews and cousins. And last but not least her 2 most prized spirits Cooper and Izzy (2 dachshunds)whom were the love of her life (after me of course).
Geri was preceded in death by her father Richard Damm and mother Dorothy Nagy-Damm of Caro Michigan and brothers Larry and Gary and sister Karen.
Gg always had a smile that would melt you and a laugh that made you smile no matter how you were feeling. She was very talented in crafts and worked with beads creating some of the most beautiful necklaces I've ever seen (1 was even purchased by a past First Lady ) Gg is/was the most beautiful spirit I ever met and I was so honored to be her man for all these years. I love you my sweetie pie now and forever
