Alex Lee Romero, age 34, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Saturday, May 2, 2026 in Muleshoe. He was born November 12, 1991 in Lubbock, Texas to Fernando and Rosa (Sigala) Romero.
Alex was very creative and artistic. He loved to tattoo, listen to music and draw. He enjoyed practicing basketball with his nieces and nephews, and playing basketball with his brothers. Alex was always ready to eat his mother's cooking, and spending time with his family in the backyard. He liked to work out, especially with his brothers. Alex was constantly checking up on all of his family members and friends, and took special care of his siblings, and he helped anyone who needed it. He was a jokester and always smiling. Alex also enjoyed mechanic work. He was a member of the Church of God of the First Born in Muleshoe.
Alex is survived by his parents; a son, Alex Romero Jr.; two daughters, Annalise Romero and Natalie Romero; three sisters, Ruby Facio and her husband, Carlos of Clovis, New Mexico, Brenda Romero of Clovis, New Mexico and Carolina Romero of Clovis, New Mexico; six brothers, David Romero of Arizona, Fernando Romero of Los Lunas, New Mexico, Joshua Romero of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Leeroy Romero of Las Cruces, New Mexico, Jonathan Romero of Clovis, New Mexico and Habacuc Romero of Muleshoe, Texas.
