Linda "Derryberry" Tucker of Muleshoe, TX has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.

Faith is a quiet companion through a long life. Linda's walked beside her.

Linda Tucker, age 70, of Muleshoe, Texas, died Friday, April 24, 2026 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born January 15, 1956 in Dumas, Texas to Bill and Mary (McCool) Derryberry. She married Toby Tucker in Dimmitt, Texas on June 1, 1981.

Linda was an LVN and worked in healthcare for many years. She loved all of her cats. She was a member of Richland Hills Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by a daughter, Mindy Tucker; her parents; and a sister, Sharon Derryberry.

Linda is survived by her husband, Toby; her son, Jaret Tucker of Muleshoe, Texas; a brother, Billy Derryberry of San Antonio, Texas; three grandchildren, Michael Freeman and Breona Freeman; four great-grandchildren; a niece, Stacy Tucker; and two nephews, Jackie Wolmack and Casey Wolmack.

The family suggests memorials be sent to Turpentine Creek Wildlife Refuge, 239 Turpentine Creek Lane, Eureka Springs, AR, 72632.
