Angel S. Watson, age 91, of Philadelphia, PA passed away on April 30, 2026. Born in Cairo, Egypt in 1935, she was an English Teacher in the Philadelphia School System.Angel was the beloved wife of the late Sidrak A. Watson for almost 50 years. Loving mother of Heidi Dougherty (the late Michael), Robert Watson and Vivian Watson. She was the devoted grandmother of Tony (Alicia), Madison, Dominick, Sydney, Marissa and Michael and the proud great-grandmother of Juliana, Carter and Adrian.Angel loved her husband and family deeply and unconditionally and treasured every moment she could spend with them. She found the most joy in celebrating the achievements and milestones of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She lived a life of faith and her kindness, wisdom and inspiration became the guiding light for her family. Her passing is mourned by those who cherished her unconditional love.She was a devoted and accomplished teacher with a Master’s Degree in English. She worked in her profession for over 30 years with a sense of compassion, dedication and pride in seeing the success of her students every day.Relatives and friends are invited to her Viewing on Friday, May 8, 2026 from 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM, at Sacred Heart Church, 105 Wilson Ave, Havertown, PA 19083 followed by her Funeral Mass at 10:00 AM. Interment SS Peter & Paul Cemetery, Springfield, PA.
