Lauren Michele Dorothy Clark of Philadelphia, PA has gone home, leaving behind a circle of those who loved her.
What follows is written with love, by those who knew her best.
Lauren spent her working life as ['assistant general manager for six years'] and held deeply to the Catholic faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.
Faith is a quiet companion through a long life. Lauren's walked beside her.
Lauren Michele Dorothy Clark, 36, of Philadelphia, Pa., passed away suddenly on April 23, 2026 in Jefferson Hospital.
Lauren was born at Fitzgerald Mercy Hospital in Darby, Pa. to Kevin Joseph and Rose Marie Dempsey Clark on July 16, 1989. She graduated from Springfield High School in 2007 and went on to study at Temple University.
Lauren worked as a manager for Uptown Beer Garden since January 2026. Her previous employer was Four Corner Management where she worked as an assistant general manager for six years.
She was a deeply spiritual person who believed in kindness and connection. She had a natural gift for helping people and gave freely of her time and heart to anyone in need. Her warmth and generosity touched many lives, and she will be remembered for the comfort and care she brought to those around her.
Lauren enjoyed being with and helping anyone that needed help. She loved spending time and loved her family and her boyfriend, Brian Namiotka, with her whole heart.
She had a special love for animals and was proud to have rescued one of her huskies, Luna, and purchased her first husky named Ellie. These were her "Fur babies" whom she cherished as part of her family. Her gentle spirit extended to children as well-she adored spending time with her nieces and nephews, often making funny faces when pics were taken. She loved playing, laughing, and creating lasting memories with them.
A dedicated and hardworking individual, she was respected and loved by her coworkers and employers alike. She took great pride in her independence and determination, rarely asking for help and always finding a way forward on her own. Her strong work ethic was evident throughout her life. When she moved to Nashville, she secured a job the very next day-a testament to her drive and resilience. Years later, when she returned to Norwood, PA. she did the same, immediately stepping into a new opportunity with that same determination.
Lauren shared six loving years with her boyfriend, Brian, whose companionship meant a great deal to her and brought her love, happiness and support.
Lauren is survived by her mother, Rose Marie Dempsey Clark, Norwood, Pa., her brother Brian Clark, Phila., the love of her life Brian Namiotka, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She is preceded in death by her father Kevin Joseph Clark, brother Shawn Patrick Clark, grandmother Dorothy Clark, aunt Catherine Belisario, uncle Paul Maugeri, uncle John and aunt Annette Fralinger, and cousin Frankie Dempsey.
Lauren lived her life with purpose, strength, and love. Her presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her, but her spirit will continue to live on in the many lives she touched.
Relatives and friends are invited to her Visitation on Monday, May 4, 2026 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by Mass at 11 a.m. at St. Gabriel's Roman Catholic Church, 233 Mohawk Avenue, Norwood, PA 19074. Interment will be held at a later date.
