David Lee Lokey Jr, 60, of Columbus, Georgia, passed on Saturday, May 2, 2026, in Columbus. Born on February 8, 1966, in Phenix City to the late David Lee Lokey Sr., and Mary Jean Brooks, David lived a life rooted in faith, resilience, and devotion to those he loved.
A hardworking man with a steadfast spirit, David committed his career to maintenance and landscaping. He took great pride in his work and was known for his perseverance through every season. His kind nature, meaningful personality, and quiet strength left a lasting impression on all who knew him. His memory will be cherished.
David is preceded in death by his son, David Lee Lokey III.
His survivors include, his wife, Jackie Lokey; one son, Zachariah Lokey; one daughter, Kayla Lokey; two grandchildren, Keyshan Lokey and Keyaira Ross; three sisters, Vera Lokey, Loretta (Buster) Baldwin, and Desandre Jones, and host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
