Horace Mack Williams, Jr.
Horace Williams, age 64, died Saturday night, May 2, 2026 at St. Francis Hospital.
A memorial service will be held at Bethel Church in Marion County, GA on Friday, May 8, 2026 at 5:00 P.M. Rev. Joy Wilson will officiate. Friends and family are invited to attend.
Mr. Williams was born November 17, 1961 in Americus, GA, the son of the late Mack Williams and the late Judy Fuller Williams. He spent about 40 years working as a mechanic/welder/trainer at the paper mill in Oglethorpe, GA. Later in his life he owned and operated Ace's Bar and Grill and Crawford Eatz in Alabama.
Survivors include his children, son Noah Williams of Box Springs, GA, son Jared Seth Williams of Phenix City, AL, and daughter Kari Grier (Shane) of Mauk, GA; grandchildren Harley, Hannah and Hayden Grier, Jase and Josie Williams; sister Susan Everett (Rusty) of Buena Vista, GA and brother Mark Williams of Buena Vista, GA; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and Valentina Williams, his former wife, who remained a devoted caregiver during his illness. Horace was preceded in death by his wife Judy Stubbs Williams.
