1943-2026
Eliseo Bibiano Padilla, born May 6, 1943, a resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on April 27, 2026. A Visitation will take place at Romero Funeral Home Chapel on Tuesday, May 5, 2026 beginning at 3:00 p.m., with a Rosary to follow at 4:00 p.m. A Final Visitation will take place on Wednesday, May 6, 2026 at Our Lady of Belen Catholic Church beginning at 10:30 a.m., with a Funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11:30 a.m. Interment will take place at 1:30 p.m. at Abo Catholic Cemetery. A Reception will follow at Dr. Saul Community Center 109 N Roosevelt Ave, Mountainair, NM 87036. He is survived by brothers, Benny Salas (Sandy) and Tony Salas; sisters, Angie Sisneros (Albert), Melba Salas-Rivera (Bernie), Dolores Salas (Elmo Mendoza), Therese Padilla; and numerous nephews and nieces. Eliseo is preceded in death by his parents, Eliseo Padilla Sr. and Leonor Salas; step father, Alejandro Salas; nephew, Ben Salas; brother-in-law, Marty Martinez; sister-in-law, Anselma Rodriguez-Salas; and niece, Stevie Sisneros. Pallbearers will be Benny Salas and Tony Salas, Elmo Mendoza, Steve Sisneros, Patrick Padilla, Martin Recio, and his grandnephew, Benny Salas. Honorary pallbearers will be Bernie Rivera, Ralph Padilla, Mike Padilla, and David Bibiano.
