Parenthood is the slow work of love. Harry did it well.

Harry Tamberg, 84, peacefully passed away in his home, surrounded by his loving family on Friday April 24, 2026. Harry was happily married to Josefina Alvarez Tamberg. Born in Manahawkin, NJ, he was a son of the late Harry and Edna (Howe) Tamberg and was predeceased by his brother and three sisters.

Harry had a deep love for the outdoors, especially hunting, and was always drawn to the thrill of adventure, whether it was skydiving or working on cars. He had a true passion for automobiles, particularly racing cars, and took great pride in building and working on them. Music was another joy in his life. Harry loved singing old-time country songs, with a special place in his heart for Johnny Cash, whose music he cherished above all. His spirit, energy, and love for the things that made him happiest will be remembered by all who knew him. Harry will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Surviving are his children: Betty Ann Tamberg, Linda Sue Ricardo, Ericka Jane Diaz and Thor Tamberg. Harry has six loving grandchildren.

Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
