Hope Marie Pugh of Ahoskie, NC, gained her Heavenly wings on Thursday, April 30, 2026, at her residence. She was born on May 10, 1979, to James A. Pugh and the late Bernice Jones Pugh in Pitt Co., NC. She leaves to cherish her fond memories; her father, James A. Pugh of the home; two sisters, Tammy P. Hassell (Harvey) and Angela P. Eley (Montez) both of Ahoskie, NC; two nieces, Victoria Renee' Hassell and Melody Ja'nee Eley both of Ahoskie, NC; three aunts, Gayle Jones Fleetwood (James) of Winton, NC, Christina Jones Thacker (Danny) of Chase City, VA and Josephine Green (Ernest) of Winton, NC; two uncles, Forest Pugh and Tony Pugh both of Ahoskie, NC; four great aunts, Margaret Boone (McEll) and Janice Boone both of Gates, NC, Dorothy Melton of Ahoskie, NC and Shirley Pugh Forney of Greenville, NC; along with a host of cousins, other family members and friends.
