William Glen Sessoms of Ahoskie, NC, better known as "Doc," departed this life on April 25, 2026, at ECU Health Medical Center in Greenville, NC. A native of Hertford County, NC, he was born on September 9, 1954, to the late James Colerain Sessoms and Mary Veale Sessoms.
He leaves to cherish his memories: two daughters, Jennifer Sessoms (Wendell) of Winterville, NC and Falita Slaughter of AZ; son, William Andy Sessoms of Winterville, NC; three sisters, Audrey Sharpe of Bronx, NY, Mary Dianne Manley (Howard) of Harrellsville, NC and Sharon Lane (Wesley) of Suffolk, VA; two brothers, Ricky Otis Sessoms (Bridgette) and Milton "Dirk" Sessoms both of Ahoskie, NC; six grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends.
