Judy Elaine Wainwright December 27, 1951 – April 26, 2026
WENDELL – Judy Elaine Wainwright, 74, of Wendell, NC, went Home to be with the Lord, on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
Judy was born on December 27, 1951, in Farmville, NC, a daughter of the late Jennis Morriel Wainwright and Betty Elizabeth Cole Wainwright. Spent most of her life in Wendell, NC, and worked for Nortel Networks until her retirement. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by a daughter, Crystal Wood (Joey); a son, Stacey O'Neal (Regina); four grandchildren, Chase Wood (Yvan), Chelsea Wood, Reid Wood, and Tyler O'Neal; a brother, Jennis Wainwright (Teresa); a sister, Jackie O'Neal (Danny); three nephews; and two nieces.
A Memorial Service will begin at 4:00 PM on Wednesday, April 29th at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory Chapel with visitation prior to the service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM. The family would like to thank the nurses of Heartland Hospice for their excellent care.
