Sasha Mariee came into this world on August 2, 2024 and in her short twenty months, she changed the world for everyone who loved her. On April 28, 2026, surrounded by the family that was her constant circle of strength, Sasha passed peacefully into grace.
A true warrior, Sasha lived her life with a quiet, fierce courage. Though Trisomy 13 presented many hurdles, Sasha's light eclipsed every shadow. She wasn't just a miracle; she was a teacher, showing her family the purest form of strength and the beauty of the present moment. Her life proved that even the smallest presence can leave the largest footprint on the heart.
She leaves behind her devoted parents, Katrina Bodger and Jacob Broich; her big brother and protector, Jeremiah Vela; and a host of grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins who were blessed to walk her home. Sasha was the center of her family's universe. Though we can no longer see her, she will never be gone. Her light is woven into the very fabric of our souls, a love that knows no end, a story that will always be told, and a beautiful spirit that will be cherished forever.
