The family of Pablo Lopez Martinez of Harlingen, TX announces his passing, and invites all who knew him to remember him here.
Below, the simplest tribute: the truth of a life as it was lived.
It is the small moments that often matter most.
Pablo Lopez Martinez, 93, of Harlingen, Texas, went to be with the Lord on May 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
He was born on September 21, 1932, in La Asención, Nuevo León, Mexico, to Catarino Martinez and Leonides Lopez.
Pablo is preceded in death by his parents; and his siblings, Rufino Martinez, Cruz Martinez, David Martinez, Ignacio Martinez, Margarito Martinez, Hortencia Martinez, and Lillia Martinez.
Pablo was a faithful member of Templo Jerusalem in Harlingen and Primera Iglesia Bautista in Raymondville. He dedicated over 20 years of service working with Van Wyke Realty.
He will be remembered for his joyful spirit, his gift for storytelling, and his great sense of humor. Pablo loved to joke and bring laughter to those around him-there was never a dull moment in his presence.

Martinez; his four daughters, Connie McLeroy (John) of Wharton, Texas, Rafaela Saxberg (Allan) of Fresno, California, Hortencia Nevarez (Pilar) of Pearland, Texas, and Terry Nolan (Jim) of Huntsville, Texas; his two sons, Juan Pablo Martinez of Harlingen, Texas, and Jesse Martinez (Mary) of Fresno, California; 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 19 great-great-grandchildren.
