With deepest sympathy, Wilson Funeral Home announces the passing of Mr. Wyman Burton, 80. Mr. Burton transitioned into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, at Hospice of Laurens Born on October 6, 1945, in Newberry, South Carolina, he was the son of the late John A. Burton and the late Evelyn Henderson.
His memory will be cherished by his daughter, Alicia Burton; One brother, Larry Burton; three sisters, Robin Bates (Albert), Lisa Faye Davis (Calvin) and Alma Sullivan (Dennis). In addition, he leaves a host of other relatives who will deeply miss him.
Visitation will be held 2-5pm Friday May 8, 2026, Wilson Funeral Home Newberry, SC.
Funeral services will be conducted 3pm Saturday, May 9, 2026, at Trinty AME Church Silverstreet, SC.
Interment will follow in the Church Yard Cemetery.
