Jonnie Miranda Green, 45, of the Fines Creek community, passed away at her home surrounded by her family and close friends, on April 29, 2026, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She is preceded in death by her father, John Paul Herbert, and grandmother, Frances Dingus.Born on May 26, 1980, in Haywood County, Jonnie lived a life full of energy, laughter, and love. She was known throughout her community as someone who was lively, honest, and always ready to lend a hand. Jonnie never met a stranger—only friends she hadn’t made yet—and she made a lasting impression on everyone she encountered.Jonnie was a talented and creative soul who found joy in life’s simple, beautiful moments. Whether tending to her flower gardens, spending time with her beloved animals, and especially her dog Stella, or setting off on her next adventure, Jonnie embraced life with enthusiasm. She was truly the life of the party, bringing humor, warmth, and a playful spirit wherever she went.She was deeply respected in her community and known for her generous heart—always willing to do anything for anyone. Her kindness, strength, and laughter will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Though she will be profoundly missed, her spirit will continue to bloom in the gardens she planted and in the memories she created with those around her.Jonnie is survived by her devoted husband, Luke Stillwell; her stepson, Branson Stillwell; her loving parents, Bobbie Lowe and Johnny Lowe; her sisters Shawn Herbert and Casey Conover (Brent); her aunt, Debbie (Elianna); her cherished nieces, Sydney Huntsinger, Savannah Barton (Will), and Mackenzie Johnson (Alex); her great-niece, Eleanor Gill; cousins, James, Shane, Suzanne, Jason, Joey, Joanna; and many close friends, among them Sarah and Connie, who will miss her dearly.
