Carol Ann Hotz, 75, of Waynesville, passed away at her home on Friday, April 24, 2026.A woman whose life was simple yet caring. Accepting all as they were, never critical nor judgmental. A shy person who made friends easily and long lasting as seen in her relationship with her husband, Jack, of nearly 39 years.She became a mother and housewife early and remained so until Jack helped her gain the confidence to go into the business world and earn her way up to Executive Secretary. She loved her travelling adventures from Maine to Florida, Mexico and several islands in the Caribbean with plans for more with Jack.She was an avid reader, birdwatcher and flower gardener up until she was on the verge of blindness due to Macular Degeneration. In the end, it was her heart that failed her.She leaves behind three daughters, nine grandchildren, two brothers, and her husband, Jack, who loves her today as much as he did 39 years ago.She will be missed by all who knew her.“I will miss her and love her forever.” -Jack Hotz
