Some days simply pass; others stay with us forever.

Mildred M. Holub, age 88 of Lindale, Texas, passed away on Monday, May 4, 2026, at her home in Lindale. She was born on September 17, 1937, in Greenview, Illinois to the late Fred and Alice (Bower) Moore. Mildred has lived in Lindale for the past 15 years and was previously a longtime resident of Swan, Texas. She retired from AT&T after 25 years of service as a long distance Operator. In her spare time Mildred enjoyed painting, needlepoint, and gardening. She was preceded in death by her brothers Don, Keith, and George Moore; and granddaughter, Lisa Vahalik.

Mildred is survived by her daughters, Rhonda Davis and husband, Leonard of Tyler, Texas and Alice Kim Kelly and husband, Darin of Hondo, Texas; granddaughter, Jenny Campbell of Athens, Texas; 4 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and other loving family members and friends.

The family has asked that memorial contributions be made to Hospice of East Texas.
