Nioma Molina of Deming, NM, has passed away, leaving behind a family and community who loved her dearly.

These few paragraphs cannot hold a life, but they may carry a memory.

Nioma held deeply to the Catholic faith — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew her best.

The community of faith holds its own well — and Nioma was held.

Nioma was born in Sherman, New Mexico on September 7, 1937 to Luis and Camilla (Dominguez) Lucero. She loved to cook, sew, gardening outdoors and talking to her sisters on the phone. Nioma also enjoyed supporting and attending high school football games, NMSU football and basketball games, and of course a big supporter of the Deming Wildcats where she was a varsity cheerleader. She loved watching all sports on TV, especially women's basketball and softball games. Aside from all her family and friends, Nioma also had a special place in her heart for her beloved cats.
