After a life of love and quiet grace, Antonio "Tony" Torres of Corpus Christi, TX has passed.
What follows is a brief look at the life his family wishes to share.
Antonio spent his working life as ['dedicated flooring professional'] — and was, by all accounts, loved by those who knew him best.
A life is built quietly, day by day.
Antonio "Tony" Torres, 63 of Corpus Christi, Texas, passed away peacefully on April 24, 2026. He was born on January 7, 1963, to Ezequiel and Yolanda Torres, Sr.
Tony was a proud graduate of Ray High School, class of 1981. Following graduation, he built a career as a dedicated flooring professional, specializing in carpet installation and known for his commitment to quality workmanship.
After becoming unexpectedly ill, Tony fought courageously before being called home to be with the Lord, where he is now reunited with his parents. He was a loving, caring, and generous man who was always willing to help anyone in any way he could - even if it meant going without himself.
Tony was an avid and devoted Dallas Cowboys fan and never missed a football Sunday watching his favorite team play. He cherished time spent with family and friends every chance he got and will always be remembered with a cold beer in his hand and a warm presence that brought people together.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ezequiel and Yolanda Torres, Sr., and his grandparents, Andres and Magdalena Zamora.
Tony leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion. He is survived by his daughter, Victoria (Zac) Flores, his beloved grandchildren, Kaydence Landa, Zayley, Kenzley, and Kobe Flores; his brothers, Gilbert (Yvette), Zeke (Crystal) and Oscar (Cassie) Torres; and his sisters, Jessica and Stacie Torres. He is also survived by his uncles, along with numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.
Visitation for family will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 14, 2026, followed by a public viewing from 12:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. A Rosary will be recited, and Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 p.m. that same day at Corpus Christi Funeral Home.
In honor of Tony and his love and dedication to the Dallas Cowboys, the family kindly invites those attending the service to wear Dallas Cowboys attire or the team's colors (navy, silver, and white).
