Cheryl Lynn Johnson Senter November 02, 1957 – April 29, 2026
WENDELL – At the young age of 68, Cheryl Lynn Senter unexpectedly passed away in her home leaving grief within the hearts of those she called family and friends. Cheryl was born in Escambia Co. of Pensacola FL to the late Alvin Truitt & Virginia Lois Douglas Johnson. Aside from her professional paralegal duties for Gay & McNally, Cheryl's many enjoyments in life included going shopping, singing and dancing, feeding the deer and loving her fur-babies. She also enjoyed collecting squirrel figurines but above all, spending time with her family, time she considered priceless. Cheryl had a huge heart, showing love towards all, and she'll be remembered as another angel this earth has lost and heaven has gained. Along with her parents, Cheryl was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael Jay Johnson, Michael Ray Johnson and James "Jimmy" Johnson.
Cheryl is survived by her children, Jeremy Davis (fiancé, Alanna) and Ashley Robertson; her grandchildren, Natalie Robertson, Brantley Robertson, Liam Robertson and her siblings, Mat Johnson (Connie) Johnnie Johnson (Vicky), Cindy Johnson, Dottie Garris (Bo) and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 4:30pm on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Strickland Funeral Home & Crematory, located in Wendell NC with a visitation from 3:00pm to 4:30pm prior to the service.
