Donald Paul Shaw passed away on April 21, 2026, in Phoenix, Arizona, at the age of 86.
Born on July 18, 1939, Donald lived a full and hardworking life. He was married to the love of his life, Marylynn Russell, for 54 years until her passing in 2010. Their enduring partnership was a cornerstone of his life.
A devoted family man, Donald was affectionately known as Daddy, Pops, Poppy, and Pop Pop. He is survived by his children, Paula, Ricky, and Kevin; his granddaughters, Alissa, Bailey, and Jessi; and his great-grandchildren, Emily and Junior. He will be deeply missed for his humor, kindness, and loving nature.
Outside of work, Donald embraced life with enthusiasm. He was an avid golfer, had a deep love for music-especially playing the drums in various bands-and achieved black belts in both Shotokan and Taekwondo, reflecting his discipline and dedication.
Donald shared a special bond with his identical twin brother, Bill Shaw. The two were very close throughout their lives.
He was preceded in death by his parents, William Paul Shaw and Constance Viola Witcher, as well as his beloved wife, Marylynn.
Donald will be remembered for his resilience, his warmth, and the lasting impact he made on all who knew and loved him.
